We are looking for a Games Writer to join our team during the evening shift. As a writer, you will create engaging, SEO-friendly content on the latest gaming trends, news, reviews, and listicles for FandomWire. If you’re passionate about video games, have a knack for storytelling, and can work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:
• Research and write original, high-quality articles on gaming topics, including news, reviews, guides, and listicles.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in the gaming industry.
• Create engaging headlines and subheadings to attract readers.
• Meet daily/weekly article quotas as assigned by the content leads.
• Collaborate with editors to ensure your content meets FandomWire’s editorial guidelines and house style.
• Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and reach.
• Respond to feedback and make revisions when necessary.

Requirements:
• Strong passion for video games and a deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and history.
• Proven experience in writing for online publications, especially in gaming.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with SEO practices and keyword optimization.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Ability to work during evening hours (IST).
• Experience writing for a North American audience is a plus.
• Qualifications:
• Degree in Journalism, Communication, or a related field (optional but preferred).
• Experience covering major gaming franchises, esports, or niche gaming communities.
• Understanding of gaming hardware, software, and industry trends.
