Job Profile : Devops Engineer

Job Description

– Designing and implementing a scalable, reliable, and secure DevOps infrastructure using automation tools.

– Collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

– Building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools. Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools.

– Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure using tools.

– Ensuring the security and compliance of the DevOps infrastructure and implementing best practices for security and compliance.

– Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the DevOps infrastructure and software deployments.

– Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of the DevOps infrastructure and implementing solutions to address them.

– Designing and building continuous integration and infrastructure-as-code environments, including multi-region failover, zero-downtime deployments, failure injection, artifact repositories, containerization, etc.

– The technical expertise. You have experience with Azure or AWS, both as a developer writing code for products and building and deploying automation and infrastructure automation.

– Design, Build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools

– Develop and maintain containerized environments

– Design and Develop the test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline

– Hands on Experience on Cloud Environment

– Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with DevOps rules and regulations

– Assists with setup and maintenance of test environments for both manual and automated testing

– Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.

– Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.

– Co-ordinate with multiple teams ensuring smooth progress in the deployment

– Support Tech team continuous integration build environment and automated package migration processes

– VSTS administration; support and maintain version control

– Assist in the maintenance and administration of build/release systems.

– Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes

– Experience in Linux and Shell scripting, preferably PowerShell.

– Good experience working on agile methodology
