Cloud Platform UI/Frontend Developer | S469

Job Summary
We are looking for a hardcore developer with a strong frontend engineering background and working knowledge of cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS, Azure) . The candidate should be able to join on an immediate basis.
You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing a custom cloud dashboard , integrating OpenStack APIs, and enabling workflows for billing, marketplace , and resource orchestration . The ideal candidate should know how to build robust UI/UX platforms, work with Skyline (React+Go) or Horizon (Django) dashboards, and connect frontends to cloud APIs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy a custom dashboard for managing billing, marketplace, and tenant resources.
Customize and extend OpenStack Skyline or Horizon dashboards to meet tenant, branding, and marketplace requirements.
Build and integrate backend services (RESTful) to communicate with OpenStack APIs (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, etc.).
Build a flexible marketplace module for deploying VM templates, containers, and SaaS offerings.
Implement billing views , usage metering dashboards, and cost breakdowns using tools like CloudKitty, Prometheus, or Ceilometer.
Create reusable frontend components using React.js (preferred) or Vue.js , with a focus on clean UI/UX.
Handle secure authentication and multi-tenant visibility using Keystone tokens, role-based access (RBAC), and identity-aware routing.
Visualize consumption and resource data using frontend libraries like Recharts , Chart.js , or Grafana integration .
Write unit and integration tests for frontend components and backend API layers.
Collaborate with DevOps/Cloud engineers to ensure APIs, endpoints, and auth flows are well-structured and secure.
Must-Have Skills
4–8 years of hands-on software development experience (frontend + backend).
Strong experience in React.js (preferred) or Vue.js , TailwindCSS/Material UI/Bootstrap.
Solid understanding of integrating RESTful APIs , especially with OpenStack services .
Backend proficiency with Python (Flask or FastAPI) or Node.js (Golang is a plus).
Familiarity with OpenStack APIs and concepts (projects, users, services, tokens).
Experience with Skyline (React + Go based) or Horizon (Django) customization and extension.
Proficient in Git , Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in cloud-native environments , including containerized workflows.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or OpenStack .
Prior work with CloudKitty , Ceilometer , or any custom billing engine (e.g., Stripe, Kill Bill).
Dashboard development with Grafana , Recharts , or Chart.js .
Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture , Keystone auth flows , and token-based access control .
Understanding of OpenStack orchestration tools like Heat or Magnum .
Experience in Agile development and collaborative design reviews.
